Passport Seva Kendra Offices Locations

An Indian passport is a passport issued by the Government of India to citizens of the Republic of India for traveling abroad. It enables the bearer to travel internationally and serves as proof of Indian citizenship as per the Passports Act (1967).

Passport Offices in India are known as Passport Seva Kendras (PSK’s). As of 2015, The Ministry of External Affairs operates 81 PSKs in the main cities and these PSK’s are administrated by 37 Regional Passport Offices. The ministry has also set up 11 mini passport offices known as Passport Seva Laghu Kendras.

There is a total of 77 PSKs and 8 PSLKs in the country. The 8 PSLKs are located majorly in the North East in cities including Agartala, Aizawl, Gangtok, Imphal and Shillong, with Darbhanga and Kalburgi and Karimnagar being the other additions. The next PSKs and PSLKs are located throughout the country to ease the application process.
